Cawston, Norfolk

Cawston is a small village located approximately North of Norwich, on the B1145〔County A to Z Atlas, Street & Road maps Norfolk, page 230 ISBN 978-1-84348-614-5〕 a route which runs between King's Lynn and Mundesley. Nearby villages are Reepham and Aylsham.
==Church of St Agnes==
At the centre of the village lies the medieval perpendicular parish church of St Agnes, which is a Grade I listed building. Erected at the end of the 14th century a truly big Perpendicular decorated Church, that dwarfs the small village of Cawston. The tower stands at 120 feet. A deeply moulded doorway with a wodehouse or wild man and a dragon. The crest of De La Pole family was the head of a wild man. The De Pole's were the Earls of Suffolk who largely rebuilt this magnificent church and its mighty tower in the early 15th century.().
